Settlement & Integration Support Program
The Settlement & Integration Support Program at Nyumba Ya Agikuyu is designed to support newcomers and immigrant families as they navigate settlement systems and build stable, confident lives in their new community. We provide culturally responsive guidance, practical support, and trusted referrals to help individuals understand available services, access essential resources, and integrate successfully into Canadian society while maintaining their cultural identity.
Our program offers systems navigation support, helping newcomers understand how to access healthcare, education, employment services, financial resources, and community programs. We provide referrals and connections to local organizations and support networks, ensuring individuals and families are linked to the right services at the right time. Through culturally grounded guidance, we address the emotional, social, and practical challenges of relocation, helping participants build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.
By combining community-based support with structured integration assistance, the Settlement & Integration Support Program strengthens newcomer success, promotes social inclusion, enhances economic participation, and fosters long-term community wellbeing.
